What I Got For Christmas

I got my Christmas present from Nola last night – she took us to see Andrew Peterson’s “Behold the Lamb of God”. It was, to say the least, the best live musical event, and the most worshipful, Christ-centered concert I’ve been to in 10 years (the last being Rich Mullins in OKC, a few weeks before he went home). With Andrew this year are Sara Groves, Andrew Osenga (The Normals, Caedmon’s Call), Andy Gullahorn, Jill Phillips, Gabe Scott, Garret Buell (Caedmon’s Call), and a few others whose names escape me. I encourage you to check all of them out, especially Andrew Peterson and Sara Groves.

Here is a clip from a DVD made in 2004 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, of the first song. When it’s done, be sure to scroll through at the bottom of the viewer to find “Matthew’s Begats” and listen to that one, too.
